Document management
Keep all your financial documents organized and linked to relevant transactions for easy retrieval and audit compliance.
What you can store
Upload and manage various document types:
- Invoices & Bills: Vendor invoices, purchase orders
- Receipts: Payment receipts, expense receipts
- Bank Statements: Monthly statements, transaction records
- Compliance Documents: SOFTEX forms, e-FIRC, BRC, eBRC, LUT
- Tax Documents: GST returns, TDS challans, ITR
- Legal Documents: Contracts, agreements, board resolutions
- Loan Documents: Loan agreements, DPT-3 filings
Supported file types
- PDF files (.pdf) - Recommended for most documents
- Images (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .webp, .gif) - For scanned documents
- Documents (.docx) - For Word documents
- Spreadsheets (.xlsx, .csv) - For data files
Maximum file size: 10MB per file
Bulk upload
You can upload up to 20 files at once:
- Select multiple files or drag them into the upload zone in a single action.
- Upload a ZIP file and the system automatically extracts its contents.
- Each extracted file counts toward your upload quota individually.
Upload quota
Your account has an upload quota that limits the total number of documents you can store. You can check your current usage and remaining quota from the Documents page. Contact the account owner to request a quota increase if needed.

Document retention
Financial documents are retained according to Indian compliance requirements:
- Tax documents: 8 years
- Export compliance: 8 years
- General business documents: As per your retention policy
Getting started
- Navigate to Documents in the sidebar.
- Click Upload or drag files into the upload zone.
- Select the document type.
- Optionally add tags for easier searching.
- Link to relevant transactions if applicable.
