Subscription expiry
What happens when your subscription ends and how to restore access
Subscription expiry
When your subscription expires, your companies enter view-only mode. Your data stays intact and you can restore full access by renewing.
What triggers expiry
Your subscription expires when:
- Your billing period ends without a renewal payment
- Your free trial reaches its end date
What happens automatically
When the subscription expires:
- All companies under your account become inactive
- Companies enter view-only mode — data is visible but not editable
- AI access is disabled for you and all team members
- Team members' AI access grants are paused
Notifications
You receive email notifications:
- 7 days before expiry — reminder to renew
- On expiry — confirmation that your companies are now in view-only mode
How to renew
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Renew Subscription or Subscribe
- Choose your plan and billing period
- Complete payment
After renewal:
- Your companies return to active status immediately
- Team members regain full access
- Paused AI access grants are automatically restored
Your data is safe
Subscription expiry never deletes your data. All records, documents, reports, and settings remain exactly as you left them. View-only mode ensures you can always access your information.
